Hey, please check out my solo-project GUNGFLY at www.myspace.com/gungfly
I'll go right ahead and advise all you prog-heads to listen to "Rumbling Boxes" in the player!
An official CD-release is intended, but right now the budget isn't what it should be :-P
Any labels interested?!?
Bye for now!

If there's anyone who's frustrated, just CAN'T wait and really wants the album right away (and I'm talking about the download version now, not the actual CD) you can send 10$ or 8 Euros to rikardsjblom AT yahoo.se on PAYPAL.com and I'll email you a download link for the album, 320kbps with cover and booklet as pdf documents...
just don't forget to give me your email adress!

Hi Rikard.I took the liberty and contacted Mellotronen.
Here's what i mailed them:
"Secondly I wanted to know how you choose the bands for your label?
Do you contact them or do they have to contact you?
I ask this because I read that Rikard Sjoblom from Beardfish is looking for a label to release his soloproject "Gungfly":

I instantly thought of Mellotronen,I think it's the perfect label for such a release :-)
Should I tell Rikard to contact you?
Thanks in advance!
Hugo"
Now we just have to wait
Stefan (Dimle) is a great guy so my guess is he will reply very soon.

Hello Hugo!
Thanks for your mail.
I have edited the whole MELLOBOAT 2008 festival and I have mastered the sound.
Tonight will I put these two pieces together!!!
Next week will I do the artwork for the booklet and the case and then will I send the package to the printing company.
According to the Mellotronen label so am I mainly re-release old material except for Trettioåriga Kriget cause they are always pleased with my work.
Rikard will perform with Beardfish and Bootcut on MELLOBOAT 2009.
I love him and I love his work with music but I dont want to ruin our friendship with being his boss.
Looking forward to have you onboard the MELLOBOAT 2009.
Tickets are for sale and the boat will soon be sold out.

Hello!
Sorry for the very late reply... I'm currently working on the last details of the Gungfly album! It will be entitled "Please be quiet" and it features 15 tracks, ranging from psychedelic to pop, rock, a touch of grunge, a tad soul, some americana and of course some prog! If everything goes along as I've planned (and my economy stays fairly stable...) it will be released this summer through my own label Gungfly Productions. Hope that sets it straight for ya'... Cheers - Rikard Sjöblom

Already have it. Bought it last year. It's very nice. Sorta Bootcut meets proto- Beardfish .. Some terrific "Bo Hansson" influences as well. Recommended.
