With regard to the general question of how the new prog bands should represent themself, crowdfunding and so on, as a fan of prog (I never held an instrument in my life), I think that the new and self-signed prog bands should post their debut albums at Bandcamp (as the best platform on the Internet now) as a "name your price" digital release, and then - of course only in the case if they get a solid feedback - to make a campaign to raise funds for the production of a physical package as a collector item, which would consist of vinyl LP, CD, a poster and T-shirt. And the price of that package would be not cheap. In a few words, the download should be inexpensive, but that physical package ought to be equally expensive as it is the case with that kind of packages released by the bigs. But there ought to be a luxury package, as I have already pointed out. The collectors and (or) audiophiles love it, and they will buy it.
Just my opinion, of course.

That package would be a ready-made, but a piece of art.
