Yes, I'm not a massive fan of the metal side of things either, but if you're doing what you want and enjoying it, that's great!
Also, from what I've heard of Heritage, it still has a really metal vibe/atmosphere to me, despite the lack of distortion. And Lark's Tongues is fantastic.
Anyway, exciting stuff to hear.
