So I got it on the 24,
Listened to it a few times now and am quite delighted
A few thoughts:
-Some Mastodon references (that is good!)
-A long number (always good^^)
-Great melodies as always
-Not as complicated and fiddly (is that a word? ) as Destined solitaire which I liked a lot but for me was a bit hard to digest
-Great performances by everyone in the band
-Very nice and funny documentary and great live show on the DVD (Iwatched that first^^)
Well I hope the band will get an even bigger audience with this jewel of prog
Can't wait for the next one ! (just joking)
Ah and it would be nice if the band could come somewhere near stuttgart this year
that would be great !!!!
All the best

I love the album. It's a bit different then the others. It's shorter and it's a bit less quirky. No biggie, because what's there is great! Tightrope is indeed a very fine song. Also And the Stone Said.. is a big favourite here.
The DVD is a lot of fun too.
The vinyl is also great. Played it yesterday at my pal's home (it's his copy). It's just plain BLACK vinyl btw. Anyone with another colour must have a collector's item?
After MAMMOTH we played Welcome to my DNA (Blackfield), also on vinyl, and we came to the conclusion that MAMMOTH was the better disc!

Tightrope is one of my favorites as of now. The whole album is great though. Its a bit different but lives up to its title. Platform is another great one that stands out. I felt this album was a bit heavier than previous ones that goes back to some classic prog songs too. This will be bought on vinyl soon. I wanted the CD version first for my car
