Song for free!

Hi all!

If you would like a taste of our music you can download one of the songs off the "Believers and Deceivers" CD for free! It´s actually my own contribution to the album and a whopper clocking in at over 20 min! Enjoy.

I love this track. In some ways its remiscent of Pink Floyd's "Point Me At The Sky" - but there's so much more. BB, to me, sounds like everything I love from ELO, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, TFK, Transatlantic, Miles Davis fusion era, Jan Garbarek, Bach (!)

I'm really enjoying the earlier stuff too (although I know these are with some different personnel!)

I just really HAVE to see you guys live wink

Re: Song for free!

Thanks for referring to all above great artists, Steve! Although I'm not responsible for the composition :-)

Re: Song for free!

Ah... but I was referring to ALL the BB material I've listened to so far - right back to the first album (which was difficult to obtain!)

I also hear some similarities to Ben Folds Five (not sure if that's good or bad wink )

Re: Song for free!

You're very kind, Steve. Thanks!
The few songs I've heard from Ben Folds sounded great. I really dig that. I'm a huge power pop fan, so that is good!
So it was difficult to find the first album you say? I really don't know where to get hold of it these days.

Re: Song for free!

I eventually found a guy in France selling it from his Amazon.fr Marketplace site. Maybe you should re-release it!

Re: Song for free!

I listened to the track but there's so much happening that I can't tell you what I think about it right now...That's a good thing!
When I have the time I'll definitely listen to it some more to fully absorb it..

Re: Song for free!

Thanks for the link to ProgWalhalla, Hugo. I just ordered the first BB album there. I had figured I'd never find it, so this was much appreciated. smile

And thanks to Per, for uploading The Harvest. I listened to that song today on my way into work actually. Really nice song. I'm enjoying "Believers & Deceivers" very much, as well as "Stories", and finding that this is the most excited I've been about discovering a "new" band in quite awhile. Thanks guys, for making such nice music in this day and age. I've been converted. wink

Re: Song for free!

Well, Prog Walhalla was sold out after all. But I eventually managed to track down a copy of BB's self-titled CD and ordered it today. Looking forward to hearing it (although I know it was with a slightly different lineup).
