There doesn't seem to be any ways to convert it from gp5 to powertab, if that's what you're thinking of. I'm afraid it would take ages to redo it for powertab, but you can however download guitar pro 5 pretty much everywhere,, uhum, the trial.. of course. I think it gives you 15 days to use guitar pro for free (unless you *cough*buy itatleastpiracyislegalinswedenIthink..) It's an extremely handy software though, and I recommend it.

Hahaha!!

I just wanted to say that this was a real treat smile Excellent job on the transcribing of this song! There are some melodies and some details here and there that are a bit different than the original but I would place them in the "authors interpretation" category altogether... I used to do this stuff with Zappa songs a couple years back and I know the amount of work that go in to transcribing songs! I'm impressed smile

Re: tabs?

Thanks, glad you liked it smile The idea of transcribing it came to me when I played Cashflow and several other Beardfish songs through the speakers in the classroom and everyone started laughing hysterically, and yes eventually silly random dancing to the catchy theme. So some of us figured that we should definitely play the song ourselves at some school concert if we get the chance, haha! I think absolutely each and everyone I've showed Beardfish to associates it with 8-bit computer games. My sister calls Cashflow the Mario song smile

Re: tabs?

That gives me a hilarious and ridiculous idea. As a bonus disc on one of the albums being a version be done using 8-bit sounds. Probably too much work for it though.

Hahah that's one of the better 8-bit recreations I've heard on youtube.

Re: tabs?

I went and got the trial of gp5. However, it would seem that because you didn't use a premium account on rapidshare, the file has a download limit of ten times, which has been reached. Take a look. sad

Re: tabs?

If wouldn't be too hard could you repost it on Ultimate Guitar or another tabs site where you can download it for free? Or as a image?

Re: tabs?

I've submitted the tab, and I think it should be on Ultimate-Guitar some time within monday or tuesday. They didn't have Beardfish in their database so I linked them to the official website. It should be downloadable here as well though http://www.ultimate-guita....bid=937119

Re: tabs?

Cashflow was absolutely fantastic. Nice attention to detail in getting the sounds right as well.
