German gig cancelled!!
pROCKfest is cancelled (Beardfish was the supposed headliner on Saturday) due to bad ticket sales (about 70 tickets for both days).
What a shame... 
Now I have to buy the Gungfly album somewhere else...

Well... this is nothing new, ALL our gigs seems to get cancelled in 2009! This is NOT the year of the Beardfish (if there is one) 
Unfortunately this means that we will not be able to play DePul either because it's just not financially possible. The money we would earn at pROCKfest would in it's turn get us to Uden so we can't go now... I'm sorry about this, but there's just nothing we can do...
We hope we will get some european dates in december, I'll get back to you all on that!

Yeah, this really, really sucks. But the problem is not new here in Germany, unfortunately. There's a handful of great promoters who try to get interesting bands to play, but almost nobody buys tickets... I started a bigger discussion on German prog forums not too long ago, but with no success so far. I really don't know what to do. I feel really sad right now and all my sympathy goes to the promoters, who always risk a financial fiasco.
The promoter of pROCKfest will cut back to single concerts and I really hope to see you guys there again one day. You deserve it.

well... what about InProg 2009, is that one still up or is all the gigs announced gone?

What a shame. I was looking forward to seeing you guys live on stage for the first time. Hope to cu soon in Holland.
